Good ol’ American beer, steak – and excited chimney sweeps!
Rodstation’s Adam Pedersen and his colleague Rob had a fantastic time at the Chimney Expo in Philadelphia.
AMERICAN chimney sweeps discovered the latest chimney sweeping equipment at the Rodstation USA stand at the popular ‘Chimney Expo’ in Philadelphia.
The big event with more than 400 chimney sweeps was held at the Valley Forge Casino Resort, King of Prussia from February 20th to 22nd.
Adam Pedersen, Rodstation director, flew off across the Atlantic from London Heathrow with colleague Rob to set-up the stand. Adam said: “The show was a huge success with over 400 chimney sweeps attending for a few days of seminars and show time. “The show gets better and better every year. It was a fantastic launch with our new distributors and great to catch up with friends and customers.”
Adam and Rob were able to meet-up with Rodstation’s new US distributors, Andy and Stacey Parker, to talk about the chimney sweeping trade – enjoying fine dining at a traditional American steakhouse.
Adam added: “Rob and myself also managed to take a quick tour of Philadelphia seeing the Rocky statue, Liberty bell and we had a couple of beers at the Iron Hill brewery!
“We were fortunate that a large order of inventory gear arrived in the nick of time on the Thursday just before the Expo began, which meant chimney sweeps were able to grab a bargain at the show and take away top trade products.”
Rodstation USA will also be present at the NCSG Convention in Orlando from April 1 to 4. “Please do come and say hello to us,” said Adam. “We love getting to know chimney sweeps, not just because we sell related products. But we enjoy being part of the wider community of sweeps and it’s nice to meet some new faces (as well as meet-up with regular customers!). We look forward to seeing you there!”
Rodstation USA has been going from strength to strength in the States. The Flueboss colour coded power sweeping equipment, launched internationally last January (2019) has been a big hit with sweeps across the pond, alongside the Flueboss Mini (launched in November).
